Gary joined Raymond James in 2001 and has been a member of the prestigious Raymond James Chairman’s Council since 2014, a privilege limited to a select few.* Earlier in his career, he served as a senior vice president and board member at J.B. Hanauer & Co.

Gary’s father was a businessman who had a solid understanding of the markets, which inspired Gary to pursue a career in business and investments. He attended the University of Tampa and earned a bachelor’s degree in business, and went on to complete a Securities Industry Association advanced course of study at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Staying connected to the community is a priority for Gary. He is a former board member of the American Red Cross and Tampa Jewish Family Services.

Gary grew up in New York but has lived in Tampa since 1978. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, softball and racquetball. He also loves spending time with his wife, Laura, their children, Hannah and Cory, and their dog, Simon. Recently, Gary became a grandfather to his first grandchild. Reid is Gary’s pride and joy, and he looks forward to spoiling many more grandkids in his future.
